Swimming Taranaki have a range of policies and procedures in place to provide guidance, consistency, accountability, efficiency and clarity on how our organisation operates. These policies are currently being updated and taken to the Board for review. Should you like to view a particular policy these are available on request.

The Swimming Taranaki Constitution is currently under review with amendments being made so as to ensure it aligns with the new Incorporated Societies Act 2026. A copy of the Constitution with amendments will be available to members shortly. The 2019 Constitution is still in force until the October 2025 AGM when the updated version will be voted upon.

Swimming New Zealand requires the regional entities to adopt the Member Protection Policy which has been developed to reinforce our commitment to providing a safe environment for everyone participating in swimming in the Taranaki region. In March 2021 this has been updated to include the new Police Vetting Policy and process.
