SUMMER SERIES - GIVE IT A GO
The final of the 4 venues in the Summer Series-Give it a Go programme was held on Saturday 1st March in Inglewood with lots of keen swimmers coming along to enjoy the BBQ, raffles, ribbons, competitive racing for the under 14's and lots of spot prizes!
Swimming Taranaki would like to thank all those involved with this event; the parents who brought their swimmers along to compete (most of whom had never done competitive racing before), the coaches and officials who donated their time to set these events up and also Taranaki Foundation for their financial assistance. Also it was fantastic to have Opunake Swimming Pool on board this year with an event being held there for the first time in years.
We look forward to seeing you all again next year and also finding out at the Swimming Taranaki Awards & Prizegiving which club has won the 'Interclub Challenge Trophy' with the most points for 2024.
